Liturgical Worship

The worship of the Anglican church has many expressions, but generally follows a "liturgy," a particular outline of service. On Sunday mornings, this includes gathering music and prayers; readings from the Old Testament, Psalms, and New Testament; a sermon; prayers for ourselves, the church, the nation, and the world; confession of sin; and Communion (also called the Eucharist or the Lord's Supper).
