Missions & Outreach

“And you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

Pastor Matt prays with our Rwanda family.

With this vision from Acts 1:8 to guide us, HTAC is a strong supporter of local outreach and international missions. A full ten percent of income is given away each quarter to a variety of ministries. We have a formal Missions and Outreach Committee under the chairmanship of our deacon that supports our pastor and Leadership Team with these financial decisions. In deciding how missions and outreach funds should be allocated, and to whom, the committee uses general principles of Christian witness, supporting Anglican ministries, and supporting the ministry efforts of our HTAC members.

Helping out at Tri-Lakes Cares Food Bank.

Locally, our primary focus agency is Tri-Lakes Cares, which provides a wide range of support to those in need in our community. We also regularly support Mercy’s Gate, Life Network, and Springs Rescue Mission, all in Colorado Springs.

In the area of international support, we provide generous support to our Rwandan brothers and sisters, and to the Anglican Relief and Development Foundation, especially as humanitarian and disaster response needs occur. These are some of our other supported ministries: Compassion International, Mission Training International, Kairos, and Christ Church Jerusalem.
