God calls us to know Christ and to reflect him to each other through our actions. We grow closer to Christ as we study scripture, pray, and worship. The church community grows more like him as each person grows and develops their own gifts. God reveals himself to us as we become more open to him. Sunday morning worship and education, as well as small group meetings, give us time to focus on scripture and how we might apply its teachings in our lives. These are also times to pray together and feel the presence of God and the power of the Holy Spirit among us.
